Yes I’m still blogging, but with all the revamping of the website, I’ve only just gotten round to actually posting some news!! Lots happening, and lots to tell and show you. I’ll save some of it for next time, meanwhile…..
First of all I’ll show you some new work for the Winter / Christmas exhibitions.
I always enjoy doing these winter scenes with trees, and they are particularly successful in the galleries.
After Christmas I will be starting a new body of work using techniques that have been inspiring me for some time. More on that next time 🙂
So, let me tell you about the most recent event with Art Breaks East Anglia. It was a fabulous 2 days spent in Dunwich. We had 6 people making up a lovely group and we were all inspired by the local scenery. We spent time on the beach, at the church and at the Greyfriars ruins. The weather was absolutely perfect with bright sunshine and light warm breeze. Here are some of the sketches:
We all had a lovely lunch at the renowned Ship Inn, (courtesy of ABEA) both days and I thoroughly recommend going there if you get a chance. The trip was such a successful one we have decided to return there again twice next year. The new Art Breaks East Anglia schedule for 2015 is coming soon!
That’s all for now, I’ll just leave you with these fab pictures of the places we used for sketching and painting…
